Another interesting story by Mr. Cussler! Kept my attention and the history aspect of the Japanese swords was intriguing.

Overall like story line. Dirk is the best. Recommend this one as well as all the other series.

Always an Adventure

Even though the basic storylines for most Clive Cussler books are predictable (historical backstory, modern problem, bad guys bent on world domination, insanely awesome protagonist, etc.), the books are always an enjoyable listen. This story in particular discussed the Chinese and Japanese cultures and history as a premise for the historical background. Even though Kirt Austin is going to win and be awesome while doing it, the story has some unique twists and turns. All-in-all, I loved being a part of the adventure.

Very good !

This is the first time I've listened to an Audible and liked it a lot . I could listen to it while fixing dinner getting my month long medicines sorted and best of all able to rest my eyes because I've got a detached retina! My only problem is the cost . I'm on disability and don't make a lot of money!
