Great book on grief and reconciliation

The reading was great! Such a great story made me tear up couple parts but overall loved this book!

Good

This was good but nothing like the first one. This gives us more to their story and to see where they end up and how they handle everything. Still sobbed like a baby with this one also.

Little far fetched but enjoyable

The storyline was enjoyable but a little far fetched and a crammed with events a reader would have hoped for to happen in the first book. The performance was not great Kasi sounded kind of whiny. Like she was trying to put more emotion in the words and overdid it.

The plot!

Such a good read! I finished both books in less than a week at work. Well-written and cute story. I laughed and cried along with the characters.

the story goes exactly how you'd imagine and there are no surprises. also, I just couldn't stop rolling my eyes.

Heartbreaking and Healing

This book took me through an emotional rollercoaster and I loved everything about it.

a must listen after book 1

okay, I was super hesitant to buy this one. book 1 ripped my heart out and I did not pay close enough attention to realize a child dies (which is my biggest fear). so after that stab to the heart I wasn't sure I wanted to continue because what could possibly culminate to a HEA after that? the reviews Audible showcased didn't help. they said the book was sappy, etc. however, I had to gamble on a happy ending. I couldn't leave my heart there at the most painful part. I am so glad I did. this book wasn't a steamy forbidden/taboo romance but the love story and rebuild from heartbreak was messy yet so satisfying. I loved the plot development and how it makes such beauty out of the grit of real life.

Repetitive

The story was repetitive and anti-climactic. Many sentences were said over and over again throughout the book.

What a rollercoaster!

I had a love/hate with the first book but this book blew me away with how it hit so close to home in the end. I was a blubbering and snotty mess and it really sealed the deal with this duet. I thought I hated it for the raw emotions it made me feel, but it’s only the opposite. I love it. It wrecked me and healed me and the narration was so beautiful too. 10 stars out of 5!!
