Resumen del Editor

How do we overcome polarization in American society? How do we advocate for justice when one side won't listen to the other and cycles of outrage escalate?

These questions have been pressing for years, but the emergence of a vocal, virulent Christian nationalism has made it even more urgent that we find a way forward.

In three brief, incisive chapters, Pamela Cooper-White uncovers the troubling extent of Christian nationalism, explores its deep psychological roots, and discusses ways in which advocates for justice can safely and effectively attempt to talk across the deep divides in our society.

Great exploration of an important topic

The author did a very good job of laying out the background of Christian Nationalism and how it connects to events if the past few years. She also effectively explains some of the techniques used to groom people into the Christian Nationalist agenda.
I think the last sections, where she views it from a paychological standpoint (jet background) and talks of how to engage those extremists is a bit weaker.
But good overall.

The narration was good but the content was repetitive

This book reads like a persuasive essay. I think I’d prefer more history and background on the rise of Christian nationalism and how it has transformed the PEOPLE involved.
This talked more about the theories and the subject in a generalized way. Pretty dry. I guess I’ll have to do more research to find what I’m looking for.
