lots of characters.... you might need a map. or do like I do.... listen to it a second time

It shows just how a lot of power can change a person life not always for the best

warning- n-word used multiple times

DID NOT like the use of the n-word!!! thought it unnecessary but this one was surprisingly good and layered.

Drawn out story

The story is too drawn out and way too hard to follow in my opinion. It was just not interesting enough. It got boring and I just couldn’t finish it.

I tried but it just was not holding my interest. Narrator was very good but story line or something we missing for me

this book was very easy to listen to. had great punchlines all throughout and especially at the end very well written

Wanted it to keep going

Kept me guessing, and I like that! The narrator was excellent with a clear, easy to understand voice. The different voices he used worked well, and made sense. The story was intriguing and interesting, especially since now we have had an African American president.

Good story, would be improved with another performer

At many points in this book, I felt as if I was hearing a long run-on paragraph. Still, the story came together in the last 45 minutes. A bland performer with a good story that finally wraps up at the end may still be with listening to.
