Loved by mom & daughter alike
My 11 year old and I have listened to the whole series, and can’t wait for the next one. I love how many strong female characters there are, how characters of both genders can be gentle or fierce. They’re complex people, and so beautifully crafted. I like that the kids have real life problems and are flawed. How adults who had hard childhoods are shown with different abilities to cope. Highly recommend for people who love books like the Harry Potter series. There’s more to these books than meets the eye. They’ve sparked many important insightful conversations about life and friendship and bravery. I can’t say enough!
