Awesome Series!

Need a series to keep you engaged, at the edge of your seat, yelling out loud “watch out”, and screaming “you stupid fool”… Then this series is for you!

Good story-awful narration

It is a good stroy; well written. the narration was flat, nasaly, stilted, and overall poorly executed.

a bit dramatic at times but I love the whole story ive read all 6 books. I want more!!

Couldn't stop listening!

So enthralled was I with book one, I HAD to hear more. Like a powerful drug, I denied myself food and sleep to listen to books 3 & 4 in the neighborhood of 24 hours. Book 5 will over take me in a couple of hours; I'm addicted to this series.

Having listened to hundreds of thrillers over 20 years, I believe I'm qualified to render such high praise. Ironically, Blake Pierce was an unknown. In fact, searching for my next read, I grumbled that his books saturated book titles. Who is this guy? Now I understand. Being on a fixed income, I rarely am willing to pay a fee to feed my addiction. In this instance I paid the fee without hesitation. Mr. Pierce, you are a master!

Enjoying the series

So far I am enjoying this series! It has sucked me in and I am committed.

The audio on this book in particular was a bit annoying. Did anyone else feel like there were times it was being read by ai? The “she said” “he said” type language often comes out sounding robotic and there are lots of small repetitions in the recording. No disrespect to the reader, just made me question at times whether it was a real person.

How does she do it?

Author Blake Pierce releases mystery/thriller novels in ten ongoing series in four formats and five languages at the rate of one new book every three weeks. She is prolific! She is an industry all to herself. Yet the quality does not seem to suffer at all. THE PERFECT SMILE is an excellent psychological thriller with a surprise ending.

Almost awesome

Narrator#3 is the best yet,had issues with the 1st one. Some plot twists slightly unbelievable!

Blake Pierce released three new books in three of his different FBI series this week. One each from the Kate Wise, Chloe Fine and this one from Jessie Hunt.
Pierce is a very talented writer. His stories are generally fast paced if not always believable, the characters are likable. In this book a 29 year old FBI agent is being kept in a safe house by night to avoid her murderous serial killer father but allowed to hunt another killer during the day. Both cases are interesting but the agent’s situation just doesn’t seem plausible.
Sarah Pavelec does a great job narrating.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
