Blake Pierce is both prolific and talented...
This is the 11th book in the Jesse Hunt series by Blake Pierce. Although it can be listened to as a standalone, I would suggest listening to the series in order. There are character relationships that develop throughout the series that impact the progression of the storyline that would be missed if the previous books were skipped. I think this may actually be either one of the best if not the best book in this series. Jesse’s injured and hopefully only temporarily disabled boyfriend comes home from the hospital. Of course she takes on a new murder case the same day. This one is just too interesting for her to pass up. From the start the police see the case one way while Jesse only sees the inconsistencies. There is actually more than one crime committed but it takes almost the entire book to figure it out. Meanwhile Jesse’s younger sister gets involved in uncovering a child prostitution case.
This is a fast paced story. ................ Ulka Mohanty does a great job narrating. ................ HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. .................. If you found this review helpful please indicate so. ................... Thank You.
