Resumen del Editor

In the next 10 years, every knowledge worker on earth will become one of two things: invaluable or obsolete. No matter the industry, the pace of progress and new information is faster today than ever before in human history - and it’s accelerating exponentially.

In this new reality, how can we possibly hope to keep up? How can we learn, unlearn, and relearn fast enough to stay relevant in the world to come?

In The Only Skill That Matters, Jonathan Levi unveils a powerful, neuroscience-based approach to reading faster, remembering more, and learning more effectively. You’ll master the ancient techniques being used by world-record holders and competitive memory athletes to unlock the incredible capacity of the human brain. You’ll learn to double or triple your reading speed, enhance your focus, and optimize your cognitive performance. Most importantly, you’ll be empowered to confidently approach any subject - from technical skills, to names and faces, to foreign languages, and even speeches - and learn it with ease.

This book is a sales pitch for his online course

Admittedly I only made it through about 1/4 of the book because that was the point at which I said I would kick my own ass if I listened to another 30 minutes of this sales pitch. I bought the book to learn new techniques and then spent 40 plus minutes listening how the author designed a fantastic course you can sign up for to learn all the techniques I just bought a book to learn. Every few minutes the author gives you another reason to have to go to his website to get something free with a reminder of how much faster you can learn this if you sign up for his course. The purpose of the book is to drive traffic to his website so you can pay for another product. That is my opinion only and comes from only about 40 minutes of listening but I can't keep wasting my time waiting for the sales pitch to end and the meat to begin.
