Quite unique

I ended up really enjoying this book. At first I felt the idea of making a plot around a nutcracker was random, but it ended up growing on me and it ended up being a good fit for what I was reading for this month (December). It had a great amount of adventure in it with some fantasy elements and a little bit of romance, not a lot to pull away from the story. I felt like the story, again, did get slightly random at times, but I was still able to finish it and enjoy it for what it was.

Not your usual fairy tale.

At first I did not like it but the story grows on you. The heroine grows in the story which is a good thing. I got this book from a contributor and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Great story

An amazing and captivating story. Hopefully, we get more about the stepsister in the future. I loved all the elements of the nutcracker and the feel of a fairytale that were in this book! Clara and Phillip's adventure was spectacular and I love the POV of Griselda! It added a nice twist to the story! I so would recommend this book to family and friends. The narrator did a good job too.

I felt that this story was geared more towards teen/ young readers with the way it was written, spelling everything out, simple phrases and repetition.

I really liked The Nutcrackers Curse, it was a good clean story with adventure and magical lands. I love the little things that were pulled in from the classic nutcracker story that I grew up knowing, and how they were incorporated into a new adventure. This story is also clean for younger readers to enjoy as well.

Completely engaging story that is a twist on The Nutcracker story with a coming of age aspect thrown in. Very easy to follow along and entertaining. The performance was well done as each character had a different tone. Highly recommend this!

A very fun story

I really enjoyed this book.

I loved the trials and how they brought Clara and Philip. I almost cried when Philip sacrificed himself to save his love. This story captured my attention and heart from the start. I cannot wait to read the next installment.

The voice is mesmerising and the story is captivating. A princess's journey to self-recognition and love past the magical realms and the goal of breaking the curse that might trap her forever.
