The cast of characters play their parts well, particularly main character Russell, as he transforms from fearful and nervous to more confident and sure, and his nemesis, Eddie, as he takes the opposite path. Fast paced and full of adventure, this production is sure to please.

I own this book in a hard copy, I bought it at a book fair when I was in middle school. My mom now reads it to her first graders. It's office appropriate, light hearted, and even just a little spooky. If you have kids who like scary things, but you aren't ready to let them read things like Stephen King or R.L. Stein this is a perfect starter. It's even entertaining to adults in offices.

The first time I read this was years ago when I was in 2nd grade. For years, I couldn’t find the book and was very happy to have found it here on Audible and I’m not embarrassed to still enjoy listening to it to this very day. And the performance is great! I love the full cast. Great job everyone!

It was a good book for my teenage son and my daughter to listen to on Halloween. My teenage son forgot the title of this book and finally he found the book again! I am so glad that we have books to listen to for any occasion!
It is also a very great crowd pleaser!
