THE ENDING THO 🤯

There were moments while I was listening to the audiobook that had me in shock, but overall I enjoyed listening to the audiobook. The narrators: Autumn Mercer, Brandon Francis, Fallen Scynclair, and Matthew D. Reed did an phenomenal job bringing the characters to life, especially Fallen Scynclair! The way he showed emotion in his character and the character building to Jasper from the beginning towards the end gave me chills, and he did such an amazing job!
K.M. Mixon also did an amazing job writing the story and chose the narrators to bring this story to life! They were perfect to narrate this book and they did an amazing job!!
If I could give this audiobook an overall rating, I’d give this infinity stars.
I would definitely recommend anyone who hasn’t to “The Midnight Order” should definitely go listen to it right now!!

Masterfully done! Matthew, Fallen, and Brandon shine!

I just finished the audiobook and had to sit with my thoughts before writing this. It’s been a long time since a performance hit me this hard.

Matthew’s performance was genuinely exceptional. He brings a level of emotional nuance, heat, and grounded vulnerability that male voice actors often shy away from in m/m scenes — but he doesn’t hold back. His dynamic with Brandon was electric. Their chemistry, timing, and tonal balance made the relationship feel textured, intimate, and real.

I’ll admit I was initially unsure how the male cast would blend, especially with Matthew and Fallen both operating in a deeper timbre, but the result was exquisite. Each brought something unique, and Matthew’s performance anchored the emotional core of the story beautifully, while Fallen added a layer of vulnerability to an otherwise powerful character.

Every narrator contributed a distinct layer to the world, but the synergy between the male VAs was a major standout for me. It elevated the entire experience.

I have so much admiration for the intention and craft behind these performances. This audiobook is an absolute treat, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Enthralling Book & Narration!

Midnight Order grabbed hold of me from the beginning and did not let go. The plot had me captivated, the characters had me mesmerized and the ending had me thirsting for more. K.M. Mixon created an exciting story that transports you into the spellbinding world of the Thorngray vampire coven where it is both sexy and dangerous, and you cannot help but fall in love with the characters who live there.

The cast chosen to bring the characters to life were the perfect fit. Matthew D. Reed brought out Corvin’s intelligence, vulnerability, and hunger in ways that had me swooning. As a listener, you could feel Corvin’s devotion to Asher and to the coven in every scene he narrated. The chemistry Mr. Reed and Mr. Francis presented as Corvin and Asher was intoxicating. I could not get enough of them.

K.M. Mixon, Matthew D. Reed, Brandon Francis, Autumn Mercer and Fallen Scynclair all deserve a round of applause for making this audiobook the delicious work that it is. I cannot wait for Part 2 of the series. I know it will be just as stunning as the first!

Amazing Narration

This story was absolutely phenomenal!! The author outdid herself with the writing and the cast selection for narration! Autumn Mercer was fantastic and really captivated her audience from the very beginning. I also absolutely LOVED Matthew D Reed, his portrayal of his characters was soooo good! I was completely captivated and enthralled listening to him throughout this story! I cannot wait to have more books narrated by Matthew D Reed! Definitely a new favorite!

I love This book !! The narration was so good I could truly feel this story ! I have both read and now listened to this book and I can’t wait for the next one!! FULL CAST!!! Boom !! I can’t wait to see where the next book goes with the storyline.
