Good story

I liked the tale. Would have preferred a greater contrast in Claude and Ray's voice and it was too weird having the male voice doing Addie's voice at the police station.

I have listened to this book more than seven times already. Simple, the story is different.

What did you like best about this story?

The main character Arden, she was strong, determine, and confident. Not a damsel in distress, waiting for some man to help her out.

The Magician's wife Arden.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes. When Arden was injured by the bad guy by the stables.

Excellent story and narration. Looked forward to listening. Worth every penny. Both narrators were great. Will look for more from Greer

Bewitching

I absolutely LOVED this novel. It was enchanting, dark, alluring and clever. Set during the turn of the century this is spellbinding mystery; did Arden a famed illusionist kill her husband or is she an innocent victim? She has only a few hours to tell her tale & seal her fate.

A few gentle twist and turns

I enjoyed the book, it was a quick read with twist and turns that kept you interested but didn’t take you far from reality. Definitely dark but interesting and I’m glad how it ended, to me the ending can make up for a slow start.
