New Author for Me

I love psychological thrillers - especially when there are twists I don't anticipate..this plot had a little bit of everything..family, romance, evil..believable characters! ..I even gasped aloud a few times and threw my hand over my mouth!

great story narration okay

I liked the book but the narration was just okay. every single line had the same tone to it even when not necessary.

Story Good, Narrator Not Good

This story was good. Unfortunately, the woman narrating the story had a horrible voice. Sounds like she should be on Saturday Night Live skits or something. It distracted me from the story itself.

Horrendous narrator

The story is fantastic. The narrator really makes it unbearable. Had to turn it off and just read.

Cringe cringe cringe

I've never disliked a narrator more in my entire life. I had to speed up playback to 1.20x's just to be able to tolerate this book. I can't even review the book/story because of how terrible the narrating is. Please please have a new narrator redo this reading. I want to like the book/story, but I simply can't listen to it. I hate to bash this woman who preformed this book, but it's really that bad. It's either her 1st book, or not her genre. The pitch and tone and cadence was painful to sit thru. I'm sad because I want to know how it ends but I just can't listen to another moment of her talk. I'm sorry for being so brutal :( I hope she doesn't read these reviews.

Long

I didn’t like the longness it took and the story on the way to the end but it was ok. It got really good in the last 10 chapters. I didn’t want to not finish it once I was half way but had I known that before buying I would have saved it for later on down my wish list. Crazy turn of things and I expect a sequel to find out if the crazy sister rats her out

Amazing

I was hooked could not stop listening! The whole book was great! An ending you wouldn’t expected and kept you guessing the whole time!

Narrator is awful

I don’t ever write reviews. Overall I am normally pleased with the narrator’s, but the voice of this narrator was not enjoyable. Loves the book and story line. Great twist at the end.

Loved the book not the narrator

I really did not like the way the narrator read. There were parts where I felt she needed to pause and didn’t and where there was just too much or the wrong emphasis given. I did not like some of the voices they used for other characters either. But the story!!!! OMG the story o listened to this nonstop !

The readers voice is very breathy and annoying

Is there another voice I can hear this in? Lol I doubt I can listen to much more of her voice. Very news-casty.
