Inspirational for a mom in ministry!

I am a homeschool mom of three young boys, a missionary, and a pastors wife and I found this book a needed read for inspiration and encouragement to do what is my main ministry. Caring for my family does really spill over to others, and I get stuck and need this book to help me stay focused, gain ideas, and know I'm not alone!

Inspirational!

This book was very inspiring! My family loves eating together and we do a lot of what she suggests already. But she gave me new ideas to try. Her recipes were good too.

Heartwarming & Inspiring

This book is a life-changing inspiration and motivation to make subtle and vast shifts in the simple rhythms of life—-without the common “guilt-inducing” response that can be elicited reading other biblically inspired literature attempting to guide parenting, family, and the daily walk of the believer. I couldn’t wait to read more each day, and I excitedly soaked in Sally’s words as that of a mentor or trusted older and wiser friend. I look forward to taking and actually applying so many of the recipes, rituals, practices, and attitudes she has clearly spent a lifetime of focusing intentionally cultivating through the guiding the Spirit. Thank you for writing this wonderful book. The narrator’s voice was also an incredible warm 10/10. I’ve already shared this book with so many friends, and could not recommend more highly.

Fantastic Encouragement

I was inspired, uplifted, engaged and encouraged to not only keep going on my trek of motherhood, but to elevate my level of service to my family and those around me. As a mother who is transitioning from raising young children to influencing young adult children I was given fresh ideas as to how I can connect with my children in this new stage of life. I also have the privilege of working with families of young children and have gained inspiration of how to engage with these families and share Sally’s ideas with them. Loved it!

This Speaks to My Heart

This story honestly speaks to my heart of what family can and should be. Everything stated in this book brought back memories of simpler and happier times typically around the table. I can't wait to deep dive into the lessons and use them more with my own family. I encourage you to listen to this classic over and over again and restore life back to the family.

Great ideas, NO PDFS!!

I really enjoyed the book and it was a good reminder of creating memories and moments with my children. Plenty of things I’ll use to implement in my home. Also, I was really inspired by this book.
The only reason I gave one less star (which I don’t want to do, but seeing if it’ll get attention to add pdfs) was because there is no pdfs on recipes or the index of questions. I think it would be really helpful and great if they could include these. Also, if you do please make sure people who have already purchased can get them too. Please, please, please consider this!!!!:)

A must read!

This book is a delight and an encouragement. I really recommend the content. I also enjoyed the reader! Other Clarkson titles have had readers that were too slow or maybe “breathy” but this reader was calming and engaging.

Spoke to my heart and spirit!

I loved how down to earth the author is. Her suggestions and wisdom is practical and truly life-giving. So many takeaways, and I plan to purchase the hard copy to more easily follow the recipes she shares. This is one I will read more than once, share with others, and am inspired to lead a book club for it because it impacted me that much.

This book is so inspiring!

I loved this book! it was inspiring, well articulated and interesting! The narration was great too! I'm definitely going to listen again and take notes! I feel like I found a mentor in this author. I saw my heart being reflected back to my through this book but someone so experienced older and wiser.
