In the real world, when you vanish into thin air for a week, people tend to notice.
After his unexpected journey into the lands of the fey, Ethan Chase just wants to get back to normal. Well, as "normal" as you can be when you see faeries every day of your life. Suddenly the former loner with the bad reputation has someone to try for - his girlfriend, Kenzie. Never mind that he's forbidden to see her again. But when your name is Ethan Chase and your sister is one of the most powerful faeries in the Nevernever, "normal" simply isn't to be. For Ethan's nephew, Keirran, is missing, and may be on the verge of doing something unthinkable in the name of saving his own love. Something that will fracture the human and faery worlds forever, and give rise to the dangerous fey known as the Forgotten. As Ethan's and Keirran's fates entwine and Keirran slips further into darkness, Ethan's next choice may decide the fate of them all.

Would you listen to The Iron Traitor again? Why?
Yes, because I enjoyed the story and I like the narrator. It's a great story and I love it. It is a must read series. What other book might you compare The Iron Traitor to and why?
That is hard to explain but it has a smiliar feel as the other Iron Fey books have only the ending was a major jaw dropping shocking cliffhanger. What about Jake Lewis’s performance did you like?
I love him. He brings the characters to life and each have their own personility that is easy for me to tell who is speaking.Any additional comments?
I love the book. However, I hated that I had to wait such a long time for the audiobook to be released after the book has been out for over a year. Please don't that happen with the third book.Worth the Wait!

Julie Kagawa can do no wrong. There is nothing that she will write that I wouldn't love. And especially if that book involves The NeverNever. I love Kagawa's interpretation of the fey.I adored every single character and only wish Grimalkin was more apart of this story. I can not wait for the next instalment! The Iron Traitor Review

This series has a bit of swearing. Although I am not a fan of foul language, and usually turn it off immediately, I respect Julie’s writing and continued listening. In this instance, it fits the bad-boy image of the character. And the character has a very good reason for acting the way he does.
That being said, I think the two uses of the F word could have been a avoided without compromising the story.
The narrator is easy to listen to and portrays the characters well.
My only critique would be to the editor. Someone needs to read these books back to back before the next one is released. In both series I have read, there are mistakes that should have been caught; such as two full moons within a couple of weeks, or the character remembering an event differently than originally written. There are also time disparities and characters wearing the same torn and re-shredded clothing for unusual amounts of time; unless new clothes magically appears on their bodies? It is also surprising that her characters don’t starve to death. The issue of time flowing differently in Faery aside, they need to eat more often.
Creative and fun! Though needs another proofreading

Would you try another book from Julie Kagawa and/or Jake Lewis?
Yes. I really loved Julie Kagawa's Iron Fey series (the precursor to this Iron Fey: Call of the Forgotten series). I loved her Blood of Eden series as well. I look forward to whatever she writes next. What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
I've read and listened to all of the other Iron Fey books, so having Puck and Ash show up was a pleasant surprise. However, Ethan seemed to have a lot of inner monologue that slowed the pace of the story. What do you think the narrator could have done better?
He has a pleasant voice, but his delivery was a little stiff. I don't know if he didn't narrate this book as well as the last book, or if I just didn't notice it the first time around, but his narration wasn't as natural as I would have liked.Any additional comments?
The Iron Traitor book was released more than a year before the audiobook was released. I hope the next book doesn't follow suit! I didn't enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed the previous installment, but the ending made my heart leap and the next book can't come soon enough.Long time coming...killer ending
