Conservatives, feeling threatened and deeply alarmed, set out to seize power in order to avert it, establishing a brutal dictatorship.
Now with things spiraling out of control, a ruthless collision of opposing forces is about to tear society apart at its seams, leaving a trail of devastation and despair in its wake.

He exalts those who would fight, kill, and die for the implementation of communism as heroes, saints, holy angels, victims, and martyrs. The "exploited class".
Pure socialist garbage.
London died in 1916 both before America entered WWII, the end of The Great War, and the 1917 Bolshevik Revolution.
London was also a eugenicist as both Margaret Sanger and Adolph Hitler were.
I wouldn't be surprised if this trope were required reading in the former Soviet Union, communist China, and Cuba.
Those communist "utopia's" are where this book belongs.
If you're going to read this book published in 1908, follow it up with George Orwell's Animal Farm and 1984 if you haven't read or listened to them already to find out how socialism and communism work in reality.
Leaders of socialism and communism, hypocrites and tyrants all, are the last to want to live under the conditions thereof once they've ascended to power, but they make damn certain that everyone else does, at gunpoint.
Socialism and communism are the true IRON HEEL.
London was a Marxist worshipping moron.
