Resumen del Editor

Today, over half of the largest economies in the world are global businesses, controlled by few and impacting many. Business clearly has the power to change the world. But what if we, as individuals, had the power to change the world of business?

For over a decade, Gib Bulloch led a corporate “guerrilla movement” within one of the world’s largest global consulting organizations. Against the odds, he created a not-for-profit inside one of the most profit-driven corporations in the world. Plaudits, prizes, and promotions followed.

But success came at a price. It ultimately cost him his job, health, and perhaps, even his sanity as he found himself the unlikely resident of a psychiatric hospital in Glasgow.

The Intrapreneur is an honest, insightful critique of the "craziness" of today’s business environment and a call to action for a new breed of social activists working within, about to join, or completely disillusioned by today’s business world.

Finding your purpose...can feel like losing your mind.

Praise for The Intrapreneur:

"An inspiring personal account of how purpose and well-being can transform the business world." (Arianna Huffington)

"A story of courage, determination, and persistence, told with a combination of wit, pathos, and refreshing honesty." (Paul Polman, CEO, Unilever)

"It’s refreshing to see business leaders like Gib Bulloch break the taboo surrounding mental health in the workplace by speaking up, openly and honestly, about their personal experiences." (Alastair Campbell, writer and broadcaster)

You will love listening to this audio book!

Gib Bulloch narrates his excellent book, "The Intrapreneur: Confessions of a Corporate Insurgent" in his warm Scottish brogue. Listening to this book feels like Gib is right in your living room or accompanying you on a walk in the countryside, sharing stories of his impressive career and childhood growing up on the lovely island of Bute.

Gib's story is inspiring, funny, authentic, and his case for becoming a corporate insurgent is timely and compelling. Business has the power to change the world for the better, but only business leaders embrace a paradigm shift in how business is run and for whom. Top down leadership isn't working fast enough, so employees must become purpose-driven Intrapreneurs. The rebels, the change-makers and the corporate misfits have the power to drive business to be a powerful force for good by making economic and societal change as a measure of quarterly profits.

This book and these stories are accessible to everyone, whether you are a seasoned professional or just starting your career. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an entertaining and thought-provoking read (or listen). "The Intrapreneur: Confessions of a Corporate Insurgent" is a roadmap in disguise of a charming collection of stories and insights, and can lead us to a path of real change, and more just and equitable world for all.
