The Infinite Glade is the explosive finale of The Maze Cutter trilogy—and the epic conclusion to The Maze Runner saga.

War has finally ignited. The Remnant Nation is done waiting. Their mission: destroy the Godhead and everything she stands for. But as Sadina and the islanders fight to protect the Goddess—who claims to be their only hope for Evolution's survival—the battle reveals unfathomable truths leaving behind devastation that will change the islanders' future forever.

Determined to save their friends, Isaac and Ximena—along with Old Man Frypan and Jackie—struggle to find their way back to the others when two strangers intercept them, throwing everything they thought they knew about the Cure into doubt. Following the strangers into the unknown, Frypan unearths the shocking truth behind the Cure and the secrets so many have died to protect. But what they uncover is only the beginning.

The descendants must decide between risking their lives and the safety of those they love back home to expose the painful truth behind the maze trials, or walk away from history's darkest secrets and let the truth remain buried in the Glade forever.

It was good, I mean it kept me interested the whole time but I felt like the ending was almost rushed. I was left with lots of what ifs or what happened to this person. maybe that was just me but that's how I felt

left with questions

Nothing against the narrator, he did fine, but this final trilogy of the Maze Runner saga has been largely... meh. I didn't find myself largely liking or disliking any of the characters

As another reviewer wrote, there is a lot of filler and general nonsense that could be completely erased and you would not miss any of the story. I found myself being mostly disinterested throughout the entire trilogy, and only made myself keep going in hopes it got better. There were a few twists but they ultimately ended up going nowhere. For example, without a lot spoilers, Fry Pan gets some news that could have really shaken things up for him, and instead of a grand heartwarming event, he gets a book that largely informative for us.

There was a line in the story near the very end that largely felt like a cop out to me in a 4th wall break kind of way as James Dasher opened a few cans of worms he seems to have zero intent on doing anything with as this is the final book. Because while the characters were taking to each other, it felt like Dashner was actually writing that line for us as many things weren't wrapped up. Maybe he will put out more Novellas, but doubt it. But we are left with questions that will never be answered.

Overall, if you were happy with how the original series ended, you can probably skip this trilogy.

This trilogy is largely forgettable.

The premise of the story has a lot of potential and the narrator read it well. Parts of the Maze Cutter series were enjoyable. That said there is a whole lot empty yammering that doesn't add to the story and in fact takes away. It's like online news articles that are just trying to add content to make themselves longer but not saying anything extra of importance. Parts of the book where characters are conversing back-and-forth trying to explain situations or get information or make decisions or arguing past the point of believable where I found myself frustrated just saying "get on with it." The entire fire scene in chapter 6 is a great example of that. Another way this presents is when characters are randomly making statements like "nobody's going to believe this," or "this is crazy", but if you consider the fact that these characters know the entire story or a good portion of the story of the Maze Runner books and all of the crazy stuff that happened in those, those are just empty phrases. Why would they not believe (spoiler alert) for example that there is a another whole group of people still living in a city underground or that the trials continued in other ways after the Maze Runner series ended? I honestly felt this way periodically throughout the entire Maze Cutter series. Love the Maze Runner books but these fell short. It was as if there wasn't enough of a story there to make it as many books as they wanted to and so they were just stretching for content. The stories would've been better if the fluff was removed and it paired down into two books. Also the epilogue was completely underwhelming. It was the only chapter of the book that could've used more description. Honestly would not have continued to read past the first book of the Maze Cutter series if I wasn't always so set on finishing stories that I start. Glad to have this one wrapped up and have the closure.

A lot of empty words / fluff
