Another great book!!!

Douglas E. Richards has become one of my favorite “future tech” authors. This is another great plot which will open your eyes to a future of infinite possibilities.

Found it entertaining.

Fast moving struggle between good and many different evils. Richards makes future technology concepts blend with current human technology achievements fairly seamless.

Meh

reader is terrific -- story isn't believable even for someone who loves scifi, fiction and mystery tales.

Hoping for one sequel

Having enjoyed all of Douglas Richard’s books, this one was no exception. They are easy to consume while still being fun and keeping me engaged. I did guess a couple of the plot twists well ahead of time, but others not so easily. I think it has been set up for an excellent sequel and would love to see (hear) one.

Not my favorite

I'm a big fan. I've read all of Richard's books and look forward to the next. This one was a dud though. It was so derivative of his other books, almost formulary. Most of the book was them sitting and talking to each other, very little actually happened in the story.

loved the characters and the plot

longer than I would have liked but did enjoy the sci fi init and the twists and turns.

Engaging and Addictive

The story is engaging and it keeps a listener at the edge of their seat. As an added bonus, the lack of a lot of foul language makes it easier to listen to even with the teenagers

Enjoyable Sci-fi

Enjoyable Sci-fi. Liked the concept even if it is unatainable. It's fiction! It's meant to entertain. And for me it did. Narrator was a joy to listen to.

Engaging combination of technology and what would be the human and societal ramifications of this technology.

A great audience double-cross

I loved this novel like all of the others by Richards. This one in particular tickled me because I was sure of the plot from the very beginning only to be blindsided at several turns. The title is very appropriate, and while some of the dialog is a bit cringy at times, I feel it captures the subtle charm of what it is to be human. I can't wait to see what is next
