Heartwarming and encouraging as people of different countries worked together helping to bring a family to safety and freedom.

Wonderful story 😃

This the 3rd book in a series. I read the first two quite awhile ago and didn’t read them again before listening to this book. The story could stand on its own but it would have been better if I had read the first two again since they referred to people and events from the other books. Loved the story and it was well read.

Thoroughly Enjoyed

It was a great story full of meaning. The characters and development of the story came to life!

Good story, interesting characters, but...

The narrator had an English accent, which interfered a bit with the American main characters’ speech. Otherwise, the book was very well read. Great suspense and many vivid descriptions of battlefield hospitals and the courageous people serving there.

God works in mysterious ways…

Greatly enjoyed this historical fiction. Kept me interested and eager to keep reading. The characters’ faith is developed believably within the challenges of WW2 One of those books that sends me looking for more from this author! .Loved the reader, also.

Two American sisters in France during WWII

This is the story of two sisters from Oklahoma sent to France during WWII. one sister is a nurse and the other a journalist. Read by a British author. Note, there is significant Christian religion in the book that some may find off putting.

Beautiful Storyline

Wonderful storyline full of love and war and God's grace and mercy. I loved it!!!!

Good story but too much focus on religion

I enjoyed the WWII storyline but found the insertion of the religious aspect off-putting. I likely wouldn’t have purchased it if I’d realized this focus.

Enjoyed this book very much

Lots of surprises as the book moved along. I had a few times where I listened to a few extra chapters so I wouldn't miss anything!
