If you appreciate (and miss) classic Cold War thrillers, this story is a great modern version with very well developed characters. The plot lines are intertwined quite well and come together in a very satisfying way.

Just when I was missing Lance Spector so much, a new spy comes along. I think Saul Herzog is my new favorite writer. He creates fascinating characters I grow attached to. My only complaint is I have to wait for the next book in the series. Oh, and I loved the ode to Lance Spector. Get it!

I love Saul's plot lines...many characters with unexpected twists and turns. And the narrator is soothing and exciting to listen to...better than most narrators! I'm looking forward to the next espionage novel!
