Edge of your seat spy thriller

Just when I was missing Lance Spector so much, a new spy comes along. I think Saul Herzog is my new favorite writer. He creates fascinating characters I grow attached to. My only complaint is I have to wait for the next book in the series. Oh, and I loved the ode to Lance Spector. Get it!

Intense Espionage

What a fantastic first book in this series. Intense, intriguing, incendiary. The narration by Jay Myers is perfect. The storyline is captivating. I listened late into the night. I found myself holding my breath. Highly recommended! I cannot wait for the next one in the series.

Good Guys Sometimes Die

I liked that there wasn't some super hero that swoops in and saves everybody. I liked it's realism. I disliked that nobody on the field tem survived. But that was far more tealistic.

many layers of intrigue

I love Saul's plot lines...many characters with unexpected twists and turns. And the narrator is soothing and exciting to listen to...better than most narrators! I'm looking forward to the next espionage novel!

Romans conflicts keeping his words haunts his humanity.

Looking forward to future books in the world of espionage. Not knowing but keenly aware dark forces operate within our borders.

It Keeps You Going

This book kept me listening to the twists and turns. As to not give away much, the ending was unexpected and fitting. Overall, the storyline and narration was great.

Enjoyable listen but long at times

I enjoyed the overall story. It definitely kept me in suspense, not knowing where things would go from one scene to another. I enjoyed that part. My only complaint is that the author tends to develop each scene into extreme detail.
