What we now call different religions should be known as different denominations or sects under that one universal religion.

But this basic truth is one not easily comprehended. The discord existing between the different religions, and the ignorance of men, make it almost impossible to lift the veil and have a look at this grand verity. The creeds foster a spirit of hostility and dissension; ignorance widens the gulf that separates one creed from another. Only a few specially gifted persons can rise superior to the influence of their professed creeds and find absolute unanimity in the truths propagated by all great faiths.

Spiritual Power of Man's Word Man's word is Spirit in man. Words are sounds occasioned by the vibrations of thoughts. Thoughts are vibrations sent forth by the Ego or Soul. Every word that leaves your mouth ought to be potent with your genuine soul vibration. Words in most people are lifeless because they are automatically put forth into the ether, without being impregnated with soul force. Too much talking, exaggeration or falsehood used in connection with words is just like shooting bullets out of a toy gun, without the gun powder.

Gambhiram Seshaier was a Municipal Overseer at Tiruvannamalai about 1900. He became a devotee of Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharshi who was then living at the Virupaksha cave on the Arunachala Hill. A student of yoga, he was especially interested in Swami Vivekananda’s lectures on Raja Yoga, Jnana Yoga, etc. Finding some difficulty in understanding these and similar books, he brought them to the Maharshi for elucidation. Sri Bhagavan then went through each of them and wrote out in easy Tamil prose the gist of these works on bits of paper and answered supplementary questions put by Seshaier. ...
