This book should be compulsive reading in Secondary schools throughout the West, particularly as RE (or RI) is no longer included in the Curriculum.

Very good history all should know and read to understand what’s happening now a days around the world

Historically concise from 7th-21st century AD !

I would like to preface my review by directing the beginning to the wonderful team at Audible, I personally prefer when the author of a book is also narrated by its author, from my digging Robert Spencer at this point has written 29 books, & Audible has 18 books by author Robert Spencer, but he has only narrated 1 of his books here on Audible, that he has written, this is disproportionately low, I don't know why this is the case (I don't know the behind the scenes at Audible)?
Robert Spencer in this nonfiction historical analysis shows the giant juxtaposition of what a person who teaches a thing they know of on a simple surface level, versus when a person is very well educated on the subject they are teaching & speaking on, in an extremely in-depth & straight from the source material closest to the events that are being spoken of, giving very accurate, unbias & factual to the said source materials from the 7th century Arabian Peninsula, to the advent of the printing press of the 15th century, to the later advent of the still photograph capabilities of the 19th century. Finally to modern day crystal clear video capturing capabilities & on demand live streams in the 21st century. When every category spanning 1,400 years long screams the answer to that inquiry, It would behoove us to listen to the unequivocal answer that history has provided us, based on the innumerable amount of lives lost, humanity not learning from history. Is either a willing blindness to the obvious facts of history, or a deep-seated weakness that we have also learned from the totality of history, the weak do not persevere against an ideology & philosophy that meditates & finds its teleology in the blood or submission of their goal of global theocratic supremacism, & massive moral depravity that has been cloaked as religious piety.

Robert Spencer offers the most complete historical account of Muslim jihad and quotes Islam's support for jihad within their holy books. A must read for all people.

Well researched, informative, rings true and not exaggerated and definitely woke me up to the reality of what Islam is. Highly recommended.

Another EXELLENT book and narration by mr. Spencer. This should be part of every history lesson in schools, but I am afraid this is wishful thinking. So important for the preservation of our FREEDOM!!!

Fantastic, requires reading for anyone in the West

Spencer’s book is a careful, assiduously researched work that is essential for all Americans, Canadians and Europeans to understand how jihad is central to Islamic theology.

Stark reminder that jihad history repeats itself

this book is a full recounting Muslim Jihad against everyone since its inception. those Muslims who continue to have a traditional interpretation of the Koran will undoubtedly follow in these footsteps. until Islam recast itself as a force for good in the world, we will have find ways to resist Jihad.

A necessary read for every American.

How could so much history be supressed? I was blown away by The History of Jihad. What the Muslim religion has done throughout history is more horrifying than anything the Nazi did. The last couple of chapters are the most important, as they are the most current.

Why do many deny or ignore historical facts?

So sad that political correct thinking and actions have usurped deliberate, factual, transparent discussion and acknowledgement of such a threat to individual freedom. A wolf in sheep's clothing that is wrecking havoc in its pursuit of religious hegemony.. Oh but wait, nothing to fear from sharia law and worldwide caliphate dictatorships.
