Ostrich alert

Another eye-opening book from Robert Spencer. Very pertinent to world affairs today. Found it difficult to follow some of the structure of the book without being able to see the text but otherwise five stars.

Most Americans don’t know much about Iran but it’s very important that we do. This book is well written and easy to understand.

I’m a fan of this author and this book like his others was clear and easy to understand.

The criticism of Islam and the religious overview

I liked the overview of different Iranian aspects, including religion, recent history, a dash of ancient history, agreements and disagreements among the factions. But I disliked the story aspect of this. Sometimes it was rngaing, but it was mostly dry.

If you want a John Bolton-like view of international affairs and of Iran in particular this book is for you.
