Excellent

Rachel, meanwhile seeing the orphaned spirits, guiding them home. Her adopted child Mallory, has this gift also. His child Clove playing with Mallory in the lake when screams came from her. The water had pulled Mallory down, and now Rachel. what she saw down under would haunt her. A man she sketched and having been murdered. . Unusual case, attempts are made on her, and her child suffers by seeing him also. The results of finding who killed him was interesting, and wanting to read more of Rachel.. I like it

I was given this book for free from audiobook boom and asked to leave an unbiased review for the author and narrator. I really like the stories about Rachel Harroway and think that Mr. Donovan is a good writer. I just wish he would make the stories longer rather than put them into a series. I don’t use credits on books less than 8 hrs, so I wouldn’t have used one on this story, but only for that reason. I still can’t figure out the proper order to listen to the books and series though. What I would say to Mr. Donovan is attention to detail, get a new proofreader or double check the production before releasing the books. I have listened to several of the books in the Harroway series and there is almost always at least one mistake. In this one Peak and Rachel are having dinner with a couple at the couple’s house when the suspected serial killer there. The killer leaves the dining table “to go to the bathroom” and the killer starts firing off a shotgun at them. Rachel is contemplating what to do and the story says “ she glanced towards the hallway, the only way to go was towards Rachel” so she’s going towards herself? It should have been the only way to go was towards Natasha (the serial killer). I like Tia Rider Sorensen’s voice and think she does a good job when narrating, other than her habit of words ending in lse (she pronounces them as eltse, pultse) which irritates me. She can also work on her various character differentiations, there are times when its hard to tell who’s speaking unless the book says something like “Rachel said”, but at least she tries to make it interesting rather than just reading the book. She also needs to work on her pronunciation (vehemently not va heem ently). All in all I do really like these stories.
