Great story, outstanding narration
The narration by Roe Kendall is superb and has me seeking other audiobooks she has done. The story has a lot of twists and turns and as always the character development is excellent. I wish there were more writers like Ellis Peters, who has sadly passed. But her books are really good the second time around too!

One of the best of the series
This is one of the best of Brother Cadfael series. I was loathed to put the book down. Lots of suspense and action.
