Couldn’t put it down

I just finished this book. I truly didn’t want it to end. It grabs you toward the end, and just when you think something is going to happen, it all comes back together again. I loved the first book by the author, along with the narrators, it makes for a great listen. Highly recommend all books by Abby Jimenez.

Laugh Out Loud Love Story

I binged this audiobook so fast. It made me laugh out loud. It made me tear up. It made me want to adopt a dog. This is a believable and relatable love story. I appreciated the way the author depicted the complexities of grief (and hope). Great performances. There were two narrators, one female and one male.

One of the best I have listened to on Audible! It made me laugh, cry and feel such happiness for fictional characters. I’d say the writer hit on all emotions with ease and complete entertainment. *****

Good Listen

Yea.... it is a typical love story, but i love listening to them anyway. If we do not have hope for real love then what else do we have. it's funny, it's sad and i liked it.

Loved this book

I loved this book and that it went right with the first story The Friend Zone two great stories of love ❤️❤️❤️

So, so, so GOOD!!

This book is so good! It is the second in a series, but can definitely be read as a stand-alone. It's the story of Sloan, whose fiancé Brandon died after a motorcycle accident right before their wedding in "The Friend Zone." We meet her two years later. She is now 26 and her life is very different. She still lives in the house that they used to share, but it is very run down (they had planned to renovate it), she is having trouble making ends meet, and she basically goes from tragic anniversary to anniversary - the date of his accident, his birthday, the day the should have gotten married, etc. Her live is pretty sad. One day she's driving her run down car and a stray dog literally jumps through the sun roof. She attempts to call the owner and gets a voice mail. Trying again and again for two weeks until the voice mail is full, she eventually has a new best friend. On the other side of the world, emerging rock & roll star Jason had no idea that dog Tucker had gotten away from his assistant, but when he got off of the plane in Australia two weeks later, his phone exploded with texts and calls. He called the unknown number back and our story takes off from there. Of course, it isn't all smooth sailing for these two. Is Sloan ready to start over? Slimy record company executives get involved, as do creepy exes. But, it's a great story and there is a wonderful playlist on Spotify to go along with the book -- check it out! Five stars for sure!

best story

I loved this story , the characters, and the narrators. I will get more stories from this author. Great writing, and I love what you shared after the end of the story. Our son has experienced what you shared. A girl who was a friend died tragically, and he found her. After 5 years of intense love and help from his family, he too lost friends during this awful period of his life, but he is making a comeback. Thank you for telling your friends' story. I know there is hope for him to find love again.

Another great book- I love the characters, banter and story! Get ready for the full gamet of emotions. You will laugh, you will cry and you will love (or love to hate) every detail.
