The Halfling’s Harvest

This was such a great read. I really enjoyed the story and all of the characters can’t wait to read more of SL Rowland work.

Wine, Women and Song

It was an tale of friendship and unique wine. I did enjoy the romance in the for the lead character, and it was only a small part of the story, but it was still touching. I am happy that the jerk of a vineyard owner got what was coming to him. The best part was how it ended, it is a complete story. I loved the way Jessica sang the song, it was amazing.

this is another addition in the tales of Aedrea. this cozy fantasy is just what you need it you want a low stakes happy story that you just want to sit back and enjoy with a glass of wine

Halfling’s Harvest

In the halfling city of Willowbrook, it is almost time for the Harvest festival. A time for the halflings and their guests to enjoy the simple things in life. However, the contests in the festival are causing Marigold no end of stress. As the owner of the Dee Drop Inn and Vinyard, she is balancing running the inn, managing the vinyard, and trying to trying to win the wine competition. There is also the matter of a beautiful gnomess that is staying at the inn.

This is a great cozy fantasy series! It has such a fun Fall vibe. It’s pretty much an entire story told from the hobbit village from LotR! One of my favorite things is that each book in the series is a stand alone story, but also connected as the characters pass from one story show up briefly in the next. It’s a lot of fun seeing if you can identify what character might have their own story told next. These characters are so memorable and it was a joy to spend time with them. Eric Jason Martin and Jessica Threet do a great job with the narration. Jessica goes above and beyond with her singing in this book!

I adore this cozy story!

This is a lovely story for anyone wanting a cozy escape. It’s great as a stand alone tale, but I enjoyed the winks and nods to the other Tales of Aedrea. If you love high fantasy and wine, you’ll love The Halfling’s Harvest! 🍷🩷

So so lovely

I love this author. He does a wonderful job creating a quaint setting, deep characters, and whimsical descriptions.

The narrators fit the whimsical fantasy world so well. The male narrator has a deep voice that you’d expect from wizards and dwarves and the female narrator had range and a singing part that fit the story perfectly.

Quaint story

I have enjoyed three books in this world and loved each of them. Only negative thing I can say about this one is that the pacing felt off compared to the other two. there were parts of story where I lost focus due to it being a bit slower paced than the other two. however I will be listening again and again just like the other two stories and I am glad I found these tales.

i love this book! i need like 4 more books of this village alone. this was written so well and it kept me on my toes and engaged a lot. very much recommend. p.s. its so good i listened to 10 chapters in one night! i couldn't srop listening until i was falling asleep!

Cozy, Adorable, and oh so good

if you are a Cozy fantasy lover then this book is it. Marigold and Poppy are adorable. It was heart-warming and so sweet and would love to see more of these two. I will say there were times I wanted to reach into the book and shake Marigold and say Girl stop.
I enjoyed the performances of both narrators they did an amazing job respectively. Kessica is always a delight to listen to and did a great but subtle job if distinguishing between the charachters. Erics voice has some great range and I really enjoyed his choices. My only thing with the book is a completely personal preference...It was a Female perspectice but a male narrator and I wanted Jessica to read the narration and it didnt stop me from listening because Eric did so well. There are just some bits of inner thoughts that I would have liked to hear in Marigolds voice. Great book over all and Highly recommend.
