Thought provoking

Interesting and thought provoking book. I would much prefer to have the Author as narrator.

i found the book overly repetitive. Disappointed as the subject is of significant interest. Best used to fall asleep to

Fantastic book

I don't understand why there is so much criticism. this book is incredible and the narration is fine. the author is very insightful and while I might disagree with certain points, he makes very valid conclusions. It is also clearly meant for an uninitiated audience and for laypeople. He provides details of other books and other works for deeper reading.

different perspective

Very optimistic about the probability and benefit of globalization. Gives a very clear and concise view of the world from a non Western perspective.

Sad

The fundamental trend and related issues that the author discusses, the increased confluence of interests of the global population as the world reaches similar levels of living standards, is a fascinating and important subject. However each of this book’s chapters is rife with mistakes of logic and an understanding of the fundamentals of the human condition. The author’s arguments are simplistic and naive. Wisdom is not one of his strengths. Suggestion…read other treatises on this subject. As mentioned, it is important; just don’t waste your time on this book.
