Should have ended one chapter earlier.

Fantastic book until the last chapter. Last chapter was redundant and extraneous. Took the book from a 5 to a 4. Some authors just don't know when to stop. Too bad.

This book is very lovely, tragic and affecting. I have to say it filled me with melancholy. The narration was perfect. I can’t recommend it enough!

I found the characters and stories interesting and sad. It was difficult to follow the time lines of the story because it would talk about characters dying and the the next chapter or chapters would relay stories about the ones who were previously told as having died. So, I felt disoriented a lot during the reading of the book. The reader was excellent with the story telling.
