Humor and emotion, a great listen
An emotional coming of age story filled with thoughts and perspectives on life’s challenges. The author has you invested in the characters and feeling their highs and lows. The humorous moments keeps it grounded while dealing with serious issues. The narrator really brings the characters to life. Love that this is rooted in Queens with the Mets part of the story.

beautiful story
so well written and so real. the story is relatable, culturally and identity conscious. as the characters grow and engage with the world around them and the many social and systemic issues they encounter, the book centers the story of friendship, love, family and community. it's beautiful and emotional, and a true coming of age story. highly recommend.
