There is so much to love in this story. The characters absolutely come alive on the page through beautifully expressed inner monologue, authentic dialogue, witty banter, and deep and delicate emotional discoveries and interactions. The flow and pacing of the story is perfection, allowing the reader to really sink into the situations Toni, Seb, and their supporting cast of characters create and navigate. This was an excellent introduction to Xio Axelrod's writing and storytelling. I cannot wait to read and listen to more of her books.

I truly enjoyed this audiobook. I fell in love with Tamika Simone's narration instantly. She brings not only Toni to life, but brings depth to every character she portrays. It took me a little longer to get into Seb's character, but once I did, he quickly found a place in my heart too.

Loved the story and the characters. The male voice actor was a bit too much for me though.

This is the kind of book I craved as a teenager. Now in my 30s, I can’t wait to share this book with my future daughter.

That male narrator’s voice really was irking me. Great book though. Love how sexy it got towards the end :)
