The townspeople believe that it’s a malevolent omen, a sign of terrible things to come.
And soon it seems that the killer drew Cora to Storyville believing she plays a key role in the twisted and terrible events that loom over the town.

Book ends a cliffhanger
Was a good book. The narrator is amazing. I could listen to anything she does. The storyline is good. I hate that it ends in a cliffhanger. I know it’s a series but I like stand alone within series. My only complaint is the internal dialogue is annoying long sometimes.
