This has been a fantastic conclusion to not only the Book of the Ice series and also the Book of Ancestor series too.

Fantastic conclusion

Let me start by thanking Mark Lawrence for starting this book with a recap of the story. I wish more authors did this.

The Girl and the Moon, book #3 of the Ice by Mark Lawrence was outstanding and amazing. It's probably my favorite book by Mark Lawrence from this world, but I have truly enjoyed all of them. Mark Lawrence's writing and world-building is complex and intricate, and his character development connects the reader with the memorable heroes and villains set in a strange and harsh world of Ice and struggle.

Someday I would like to reread this series first, and then follow it by rereading the Ancestor series. There is so much I have forgotten from the Ancestor series, and I have no doubt, many things I missed while reading it the first time. I listened to the Audible version narrated by Helen Duff, and her narration was stellar and engaging. This is a great book and the end of a wonderful series.

I'm so glad that I read this after the Books Of The Ancestors! We get so much more info about that series in this book. I listened to it at 1.15 speed because it's narrated slowly and my attention wandered at normal speed.

An incredible ending!

This really brought so many things together. There’s a part I literally screamed in excitement when something was revealed! Can’t wait to listen to all his books again now that I know🥹🥰 Brilliant!

omg. let me just say, the start to this series was SLOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!! Like when I finished the first book, I had no idea still what was going on! buut I needed to finish. and typically, if im not rocking with a book after 20 chapters its done. But it just didn't make sense, because Grey sister, Red Sister Holy Sister were all SO amazing, i figured I can't stop! i know something is here! and it was... omg I cried. I laughed. I am amazed! and Kiot being Thesis! like OMG! amazing and Brilliant! So when Nona lost him, he hitched a ride on Tarkax! 🤣🤣🤣. sooo clever!!!😫

glad I stuck with it!

Another wonderful entry from Mark Lawrence, his shared universe has far surpassed sanderson and I can't wait for more. The Tie ins and superbly wrapped up ending to thos trilogy was satisfying while leaving me thinking and hoping to return.

as always an amazing engaging book from Mark Lawre

I have enjoyed this series and the last series on the same planet. This last book held my interest but the ending was….well meh. In the first trilogy there were power caps and austere themes that were engaging with the cruel realities of Abath. In this last book all of those went out the window. Characters seemed to defy the power structures and all powerful enemies became conveniently defeated. I still enjoyed this series and would recommend but the ending was a bit convenient. Overall…meh

Good but…
