What a tangled web she weaved!

Absolutely Amazing! Emma just keeps getting pulled deeper and deeper into the game. Is she trying to find the game master to solve the Terrance Owen’s case or has she become a player herself?

My mistake for jumping into the series midway

I didn't notice when I started this listen that it's Book 32 of the series. That's why there were odd (to me) side stories with her friends that were of no interest to me and distracted from the main storyline. I'll own that one. The main issue I had with the book was the narrator (sorry, Ms. Duncan). Her normal inflections were annoying and every character sounded, basically, the same.
