4.5 Stars ⭐️ Jack Baker is funny and a very sweet hockey player. He also has an injury. Abby Thompson is grumpy and her brother is married to Jack’s sister. They are also teammates. Abby’s dad is toxic and horrible. When her apartment gets flooded, she needs a place to live. Jack happens to have a room available. I love Jack. He is really funny with the banter he has with Abby. He’s enduringly cheesy, but he is exactly what Abby needs. I love the romance and the characters! The character growth is well done! I like everything about this book!

The depth of their relationship in only 6 WEEKS

Honestly I loved how fast passed their relationship grew and flourished! It was sweet but genuine, I usually hate these types of tropes(enemies to lovers but actually the guy has always been interested and the girl secretly liked him but misunderstood his character for someone who hurt her in her past) but this really pulled on my heart strings. And as a child with parent abandonment issues I really resonated with the family dynamics.
