Turns out it was too good to be true. Rex Sloane is cold, hard, and impenetrable. I'm not convinced he's even human. Oh, and he's a dick. The fastball
Good characters and plot. It seemed to go too slow for me with rambling dialogue. The ending made me teary as I’d hoped Sage could have had many more years as a King. But I understand. It was a good ending anyway.
