As she is sifting through the ruins of her life, Iris gets a call from a woman working at a local rehabilitation facility claiming to represent a patient there who would very much like to speak with her. Given Iris’ current emotional state of mind after the destruction of her career, she’s not inclined to grant this patient’s wish but for reasons even she herself can’t explain Iris agrees to pay this patient a visit. When she shows up at the facility the following day, the patient turns out to be the last person she ever expected to see.
What follows is a beautifully written story about love, loss, hope, redemption, and the indelible and unbreakable bonds that tie us together as we travel through this journey we call life.

Again…
This is the second book of Joshua Berkov I’ve purchased. It was a little confusing when the same person is narrating both books. The story was all over the place and was just unbelievable at times. I wanted to stop listening to it multiple times but thought “it might get better”. It never did.

Loved it!
I have read every one of joshes books, and they are absolutely fabulous. They make me laugh, they make me chuckle they make me shake my head! I wish he right would write faster. I love his work. This book is really cute and makes me shake my head. Some of the stuff this gal comes up with is hilarious. A must read!
