There’s Hope

Amazing book! I just started emdr therapy. Upon my first session therapist suggested this book. I’ve read a few including Francis Shapiro. This book feels more current. I’m excited about this next part of my journey.

Worth Reading

Very helpful book. Easy to listen to. I would recommend it to those wanting to learn more about EMDR.

Rather promotional

Found very little information on the process itself. It felt like a rather promotional material on the method.

Eh. Reads like an advertisement

Was hoping for an overview of how emdr works. This is a collection of stories of people helped by emdr. That's helpful, but gets repetitive.

A long advertisement add

It starts with a good explanation of EMDR, and then ab extended review of cases superficially presented, summarizing in 'this is the great, I am great'. Not enough value for the listener.
