On the planet Tython, the ancient Je’daii order was founded. And at the feet of its wise Masters, Lanoree Brock learned the mysteries and methods of the Force - and found her calling as one of its most powerful disciples. But as strongly as the Force flowed within Lanoree and her parents, it remained absent in her brother, who grew to despise and shun the Je’daii, and whose training in its ancient ways ended in tragedy. Now, from her solitary life as a Ranger keeping order across the galaxy, Lanoree has been summoned by the Je’daii Council on a matter of utmost urgency.

How to Be Like is a "character biography" series: biographies that also draw out important lessons from the life of their subjects. In this new book - by far the most exhaustive in the series - Pat Williams tackles one of the most influential people in recent history. While many recent biographies of Walt Disney have reveled in the negative, this audiobook takes an honest but positive look at the man behind the myth. For the first time, the book pulls together all the various strands of Disney's life into one straightforward, easy-to-listen-to tale.

Most organizations and individuals work in the context of annual goals and plans; a 12-month execution cycle. Instead, The 12 Week Year avoids the pitfalls and low productivity of annualized thinking. This book redefines your "year" to be 12 weeks long. In 12 weeks, there just isn't enough time to get complacent, and urgency increases and intensifies. The 12 Week Year creates focus and clarity on what matters most and a sense of urgency to do it now. In the end more of the important stuff gets done and the impact on results is profound.

Reseñas de la Crítica
“The Disney Difference is packed with enjoyable history about Walt Disney and his ‘world.’ But more than a fun Disney archive, Wayne Olson’s book emphasizes the importance of customer relations through the Disney lens. That’s why I recommend it. Dazzling customers with remarkable service. Yes!” (Dan T. Cathy, chairman and CEO, Chick-fil-A)
“I’ve read lots of books about Disney, and this one is a gem. Read this for new insights and useful ideas.” (Mark Sanborn, author of The Fred Factor)
“This is a wonderful book. It’s not only a tribute to Walt Disney and the philosophy that helped make Disneyland the showcase for an entire industry, but it details that philosophy beautifully and outlines how it can be applied to every business endeavor, large or small. Whatever Walt did he did from his heart. To see the things he believed in being interpreted and incorporated in so many areas of business would make him very proud. It is a must-read!" (Rolly Crump, Disney imagineer)

The carefully woven stories of the Disney’s’ synthesized lives pursuing their timeless, priceless vision….
All my life I’ve been inspired and awed by the commitment, the ethic, the unrelenting persistence of the Disney Brothers’ pursuit of their given vision. Even today, after half a century of study, practice, and investment in adapting it to health care, I find this book powerful in renewing the passion. Thank you… thank you for sharing so expertly what you yourself have also invested in: the pursuit of that same timeless vision— to serve our highest selves by opening us to our imagination!

Wayne does an outstanding job at story telling while incorporating how one can learn from the ways of Disney-not just his big ideas but even the smallest. This book is for everyone...whether you are in customer service, on a board for a non-profit, a CEO, a volunteer, or someone looking for more great Disney facts. So much to take away and apply in your everyday life. Highly recommend!

A definite stand out among Disney related books
I really found that this book stood out amongst the many Disney related books that try to inspire and have an impact on your business. I’ve attended the Disney Institute and this book was just as inspiring in my opinion. It’s thoughtful and I can’t wait to use it to help move my nonprofit forward.
