When a demon gets a taste for his own subjects, only one woman will offer herself to stop him.

Gluttony has existed in the shadows for centuries. He's consumed everything possible. Food, wine, magical substances, even the sweet kisses of maidens. When he realizes the one thing he's never consumed is a human itself, his kingdom spins into chaos.

Katherine lives in the shadows of her village. Injured as a child, she isn't a suitable match for marriage. So, instead, she dedicates herself to having some purpose in the town. Stitching people up after Gluttony has his way with them makes her realize she could be more of a solution than a problem.

So she makes the trek up to his castle and offers him a deal he cannot refuse. Her blood, unlimited, if he will leave the rest of her town alone.

Though he's never even considered such a deal, Gluttony finds himself obsessed with this new human pet. He cannot get her honey scent out of his nose or the kindness of her touch out of his mind. And he swiftly realizes that she soothes an ache in his chest he had forgotten existed.

This little human has reminded him how lonely he is. And now he'll do anything to keep her.

Book three in the Seven Deadly Demons series will follow Gluttony back to his kingdom hidden in the moors...

Unlike the other books, most of the book is them understanding the growth of their feelings for one another and not about the threat that is plagued all of their kingdoms. The solution was humanity.

A slow romance

Well this is my fave so far but it has Beauty and the Beast elements and that’s by fave fairy tale. The performance was amazing as well!

This one was cute!

Fast summary
Demon gluttony has been alone for many years for the fear of hurting his people. The town fears him cause the injured people who has passed through the healers hands.
The main female character is cripple and has learned to live with it. She spends her days healing people. One day a weirdo out side her window reveals him selves. Other than fear. She feels a purpose to do more with this situation. That things are not how they appear. Many visits to the evil vacant castle leads to more than a blood donor.

Review
Step up from last book. The main male character has many layers and you some are kind of surprising. In the last book, he came off less high on power. Which he does in this one also. Excepts the reality of the situation and the way him and his brothers had took advantage of it. But when the little healer comes to make a deal. The smell of her blood and the strength of her personality leads him to a new path.
Main female character is sweetness and hope. Even though life is the worse. She lives in pain. Possibility of death is around every corner. She has hope for change. Which I like in this book. They make a good team in this story.
The storyline is pretty good. Has a building storyline with a mystery that passes from book to book. I did not feel surprised in the main story. All was easy to guess. Which does not make it bad.
One bit I’m not a fan of in all books. Is that they change spirits types. Book one is lust to love. I do not like that and comes off corny. Why can’t they stay who they are mainly. You can still be lust and feel other emotions. Or greed and have compassion without changing who you are in spirit. Personally, I would’ve felt it would’ve made the character stronger if they could keep there darker sides and keep being kind. But I also understand the reason behind it.
The kingdoms are not doing as good as they think and a good spirit will lead them on a better way. Just the way they announce it comes off corny. Not smooth.

Romance was innocent building. Like puppy love. Steam was lower than last books. More foreplay in most. But this made the relationship grow better. I liked how this was put together.
Storyline was adventurous and character growth.

Narration review
Narrators did a really good job in this book

Would I recommend this book?
Yes, this series is not bad and I look forward to hearing about the other characters like pride or wrath. This will be grand.

Better then the last book

4 Stars!

Another wildly entertaining Seven Deadly Demons book! I love the characters and their growth over the course of the book, all their little quirks and the personality development are some of the best since you can find similar characteristics to your own.

I like this series but this one seemed to go on a bit too long. There were several discontinuities. I do t like the male narrator. At times it seems like maybe he has a lisp, and the female narrator was a little robotic at times. This one had sooooooo many spicy scenes. I was worried about our FMC a few times and wanted her to be smarter. But in the end I like the way it ended and wish it had more in the epilogue about his kingdom.

Sexy but errors

I have read and or listened to several Emma Hamm books and this is so far the one I am most disappointed in. As usual, the male and female protagonists are both lovable and endearing. Gluttony is perhaps the most endearing MC I have ever read about. He is kind, he is gentle and he is somewhat of an introvert, something that I identify with. He is absolutely not a monster. I felt as if this book was just a bridge book and not a complete book; in that it was only simply meant to introduce Envy in book 4. Gluttony's character was very basic even though I feel that Gluttony should have been a very complex being. Even Katherine's character was way more complex than his. The character of Gluttony was very predictable, and I felt very dissatisfied because I kept expecting to read about a very complex and thoughtful character, but instead I got a handsome, self-loathing, red-eyed vampire. His name should have been self-loathing not Gluttony because he was not a glutton in any way. I really liked his character, I also really liked Katherine's character and I am quite sad that he was mistreated this way. Both of these characters were very endearing and I felt a sense of emptiness after reading the book. I like reading Emma Hamm's books because the male protagonists tend to be very strong, funny, incredibly strange, yet sincere and dashingly handsome. The female characters are always strong and smart, even when they are vulnerable. I have never felt dissatisfied with any Emma Hamm female character, as they are always the kind of women I wouldn't mind being myself; i.e compassionate, passionate, super intelligent, super strong in their own right, have a sense of agency, intuitive, introspective and so on..... They also do not wallow in their weakness or mediocrity. They rarely if ever cry..... (an act I find infuriating, except in rare circumstances). I just love her female protagonists, starting with Mira from Whispers of the deep.
The narrators were once again wonderful, but even they couldn't save this book from being a bit less than averagely satisfying.
