The third and final book in The Nightfall Saga, the thrilling and action-packed epic fantasy series set in the world of The Demon Cycle, from New York Times bestselling author Peter V. Brett

“Heart-wrenching, smart, and modern . . . The Desert Prince has set a new standard for fantasy.”—Wesley Chu, author of The War Arts Saga

He is known as The Prince of Lies. The Father of Demons. He is Alagai Ka, the Demon King.

Though humanity won a hard-fought victory in its war against demonkind, the Demon King has escaped in search of a new queen to restart his dark hive, and has found signs of one on a distant shore.

But pursuing him are humanity's best hopes: Olive Paper and Darin Bales, whose legendary parents brought demonkind low once before. Olive and Darin will not rest until the demons are defeated, and so relentless is their hunt that they have followed Alagai Ka across the sea to a strange new land.

There they discover a culture unlike any they have never known, where demons live alongside humans as servants and companions. And there they meet the demon's masters--including a seductive prince who is drawn to Olive--who seem unable or unwilling to understand the danger they are in.

Because no human is safe from the Demon King's thirst for war--and every human must join the battle against his kingdom of death.

Praise for The Desert Prince

The Desert Prince is a deeply intimate, yet epic adventure. Heart-wrenching, smart, and modern, this book kept me wide-eyed and wide awake for many a night as I struggled step by step alongside Olive and Darin, from the green lands to the desert pits to the darkest recesses of the demon minds. The Desert Prince has set a new standard for fantasy.”—Wesley Chu, #1 New York Times bestselling author of The War Arts Saga

“An intricately crafted tale of intrigue and courage where one’s station and lineage determine everything, good and bad . . . an exciting read . . . Peter V. Brett has outdone himself with this first book in a new series.”—Terry Brooks

The Desert Prince is the work of a master at the top of his game. The new cast of would- be heroes instantly draws you into a world full of old dangers as Brett cranks up the tension to unbearable levels. If you’re going to read this book, cancel all your plans, because there’s no way you’ll be able to put it down once you start.”Mike Shackle, author of We Are the Dead

“Peter V. Brett takes the reader with him and his characters on an electric and unrelenting charge through the demon-haunted depths of the Warded universe, full of love and death.”—Naomi Novik, New York Times bestselling author of A Deadly Education

I’m so sad this series is over.
So well written and performed. I stumbled upon this series and have read and re-read them all several times

I’m sorry the Demon Cycle was epic I loved every minute of it, but these sequel 3 was just disappointing!! To start the narrators just wasn’t good on all 3. Don’t get me wrong I like them on other additions but after listening to Pete Bradbury on the first 5 books it’s hard to listen to these without his voice as the narrator!!
For what could’ve been an epic sequel to the originals the story of these 3 books was just bad!! To me nothing seemed to flow together and just felt like a series of different stories and a lot of nonsense that just made no sense!! I understand where it could’ve went but there was so many missed chances to have the veteran cast come in at points and make it more interesting and all of the battle scenes were just bad!! This last book made absolutely no sense I mean there was a whole group of people that was just thrown in for no reason and could’ve been a whole other story and then wrote a fourth book to tie it all together but it was all pointless!! I guess I was just disappointed with the whole series knowing it could’ve been epic and to be let down in that way just sucked!! I love the author he is one of the best ever that I have read and created a world that was just awesome!!! I’ll read and listen to the next story he tells, but unfortunately these 3 books were just a let down!!

I am so glad they brought back Pete Bradbury. He brought it all to life for me and became the soul of the story.

The story itself took us along a twist that somehow boosted the whole world that Peter made to such a degree that my brain was in delight. This world has become my mental refuge and it is amazing to be able to get lost in the land of Alagai over and over and always pick up something new.

The story took an EPIC direction
