wonderful series

Great storyline and characters. A welcome difference than other shifter novels. Keeps you wanting to read more. The narrator's did a great job bringing the story to life.

Loved it!

The last book in this series was amazing. Loved all the characters in the book as well as the different POV‘s of the characters in between. Love the chemistry of the last two main characters in this book. Loved the twist in the end and for sure, I love the happy ending.

Best of the series

Loved the twist at the end! Enjoyable story, great culmination of the other books 📚 & bringing everything together. This book in particular was different but in the best way, really great series :)

OMG FREAKING AMAZING

Man , this author really covered all the basis for great story telling. Compared to the other books , I do think the additional sex scenes were over kill. The last 10 chapters were so amazing I had to re-listen! The author really pulled the story to a full circle, no additional questions left unspoken. I really loved this!
Overall the Narrators did an amazing job. You get use to the difference in the Narrations and start to really enjoy the series and the characters that are brought to life, for me this happened in book 2.

Take out some of the intimate sexy time details and it would have been better. I was getting restless and maybe a bit bored about 2/3 of the way through but the ending pulled it through and I actually got chocked up at the end. Over all great series.

Loved this whole series

From beginning to end this was very exciting and adventurous. Loved the characters and the romance throughout. Good sexy scenes. Will look forward to more books from this author.

A fantastic end to the series

This book and the entire Inferno Rising series is a life, love, and death affirming masterpiece encompassed in a beautifully crafted paranormal romance. The Cursed King has a little bit of everything - sweet moments, fan your face steam, dangerous excitement, tragic pasts, cut throat and loyal supernatural creatures, strong family ties, nail biting fight and chase scenes, and even some chuckles, all set against the backdrop of the continuing war between dragon clans.

Airk and Angelika’s love story has all the feels - expect to gasp, to laugh, to grit your teeth, and to cry. When Airk was just a boy, he watched his parents and the White King and queen be murdered by Pytheios, the Red King. Following the murders, for five hundred years, Airk was imprisoned in the Red King’s dungeon. He escaped at the end of the previous book. Angelika, one of four Phoenix sisters, did not inherit any of the phoenix’s powers. All her sisters have powers and have mated with kings. She still wants to do her part despite her powerlessness and believes mating with Airk will help the fight against the Red King but Airk refuses believing he’s too dangerous. Due to his imprisonment and torture, he’s never shifted and as a result his dragon is feral. Airk and Angelika have a bit of a roller coaster ride to get to their HEA. It is definitely a c’mere, c’mere, c’mere, get away, get away, get away angsty dance.

Sprinkled throughout this beautifully paced story of Airk and Angelika’s HEA, we are given first person glimpses into Angelika’s phoenix sisters and their mates’ relationships. Other secondary characters from the first three books make cameo appearances as well. Rather than being overwhelming or detracting from the main storyline, these characters are central to moving the story along. The conclusion of the book and the series was different than what I was envisioning but it was well crafted to bring the whole conflict (including the parallel Fire’s Edge series) to a beautifully satisfying conclusion.

This is 4th and final book in the Inferno Rising series. It is a stand alone but the series has a story arc that weaves the books together. To get the full richness of the story I suggest you read them all.

Sarah Puckett and Alexandre Steele did a phenomenal job narrating the story and characters into life with enough change of inflection, tone and cadence to voice multiple characters quite convincingly. I love the added dimension of listening to the characters.

I want more books for this series

love the story. female Empowerment is felt throughout the book.narrators are not the best but I still listened to it because I love the story so much. I laughed a lot.

It was a well written amazing and captivating set. I loved everything about them! Easy to follow and the readers were also great.

Excellent end to a Series

This was the best of all 4 books. I stumbled across this series and after reading the very first novel, I immediately uploaded all four. The narrators were awesome, the story lines were believable and the characters were everything you need a character to be in a good story. this would be a great television series lol
