Nothing says Christmas like severed fingers

It's December and a serial killer is leaving body parts all over Cumbria.

Called in to investigate, the National Crime Agency's Washington Poe and Tilly Bradshaw are faced with a case that makes no sense. Why were the victims killed in such different ways? Why is their only suspect denying what they can irrefutably prove but admitting to things they weren't even aware of? And what could the cryptic message left at each scene - #BSC6 - possibly mean?

When a disgraced FBI agent gets in touch things take an even darker turn. Because she doesn't think Poe is dealing with a serial killer at all; she thinks he's dealing with someone far, far worse - a man who calls himself the Curator.

And if you think you know what's happening, you're exactly where he wants you to be...

Great storyline with an exciting fetish. I loved the personal aspect of this story – similar to the first book of the series.

Bonus: there is not a tremendous amount of the nonsense with Tilly.

One of the most interesting plots in the series

Waited for ages for this to come to Audible in the states. Well worth the wait. Tilly is the best!!!!

Brilliant

A riveting story of how easy it is for the twisted & vicious to fish in the internet ocean for vulnerable souls to manipulate. How to control them into committing crimes & how those twisted individuals can hide behind those most vulnerable. Gripping & brilliant right to the end.

Unputdownable

I say it again absolutely gripping.

Not wanting to repeat myself, as with the last book I could not stop listening.
Now that I am finished I have to go and find my darling wife who is very pissed off with me for ignoring her.
But it was worth it..

ps. Thoroughly enjoyed “Why Sheep Don’t Shrink”
