The content is good but too many scriptures

Overall the content is good but the author quotes WAY too many scriptures for my taste.

Cranky Mom has helped me so much!

Absolutely love this book. I'm not even finished yet, but already it's helped tremendously. Having many scripture references has rooted me more firmly in Christ and his plan for me as a mom.

I absolutely loved this book it has me thinking very intentionally about my parenting. I just ordered the book in print so I can do the written parts and use it for reference.

If your religious you'll like it

I was really enjoying this book. It was a direct hit on parts of my life. It was serious yet lite at the same time. But then I got to the chapter Jesus is not a killjoy. I couldn't finish the book. Se talks about using scripture to help teach your kids how to deal with life. She even goes so far to say if you don't know any then learn, take a Bible study class, and read the bible daily. I am a cranky mom because I have zero time and a 6 year old child. I don't even take time for the things I need to do most of the time. As a single mom I want to do better but while taking time away from my day to learn the bible may sound like a fix to some; and believe me I do wish my family would of been more involved in church growing up. To me it just sounds like I'm going to fall even further behind if I try to add another activity to my routine. I have faith, as I know my child was a direct gift from god and a message to me that I had bigger and better things to do in my life still. But I did not purchase this book to school me on my faith and God. I bought it to hopefully learn how to be less cranky.
