Whimsical YA fantasy meets real world odd kids,

....and it's perfect. A narration that draws you into the story and makes it believable rather than one that distracts or repels is a huge plus, and this combination works. The story is enchanting, and one worthy of a listen for anyone who had that awkward "loner" childhood and just never seemed to fit in. Little by little the outcasts come together to make a great cast in this adventure. I can't wait for more!

Great story and excellent narration

Engaging story - I like the way it moves and the relationship between the girls as they unfold. Excellent quality performance by the narrator, smooth and easy to listen to. Great transitions and fluidity.
