more of the battles in the Pacific than a continuation of Pacific Glory but very good. i did like pacific glory better as it had more of a story.

Fantastic book very well written and very riveting !! The book flows very well and keeps you excited. Knowledge of us Navy and U.S. Navy surface action . Highly recommend !!!

Naval Combat in Detail

This is the second book I have read by this author. This one differs from “Pacific Glory” as it mostly has combat scenes and not much romance and other back stories in it. I still give it five stars as it really illuminates the job of Commodore in the WW2 navy. The narrator did an outstanding job in reading the book.

Love intertwining historical fiction with fact. Author does a great job at building engaging stories. Send it around important historical moments. Highly recommended book series.

An excellant performance

So very much better than the typical flat AI "reading." There is real life in the characters, their voices, and therefore their personalities.

moving and fast paced

Wonderfully read it held my interest with only a few short naps during the performance. If you like navel stories without all of the usual spelling out of military acronyms you will probably enjoy this book.

Best naval historical fiction book

A very compelling book. Impossible to put down. Great characters and a great story centered around the naval side of the Guadalcanal campaign of WWII.
