One of my favorites

I am a John Grisham fan and try to listen to all of his work. This is one of my favorites!! Great story.

Great story!

A great story and the characters were well-defined. Narrator did an amazing job with a variety of voices. Grisham is an awesome writer — I love his style and have read several of his books. Now, on to the next one … maybe I’ll do Pelican Brief next!

Good have been so much better

Too long, story started out really good then went-sideways. I wish it could have more meat!

Narration Flat

Where’s Michael Beck??? Would have made it so much better! Was not convinced by this narrator.

I can see it in the movies.

As always with Grisham a fine read. The characters are so well developed you love Mark you love Reggie. I look forward to Grisham‘s next novel..

Worth every minute

Great. Entertaining while driving Mark reminded me of a resourceful youth and Reggae a woman willing to make a difference

I loved Mark’s humor. Good story. I enjoyed Reggie a lot. I love all of John Grissom’s writings.

good story line, dragged on at times

strong overall plot and development. below average narration. could have 2 or more hours shorter and every bit as good.

Very enjoyable!

Narrator did a fantastic job! I highly recommend this book. I listened to it in the car on drives and it was wonderful.
