Good story

Great sex. Not so much suspense but predictable personal love drama. Still a good romance story with an HEA.

The banter

Cute enough. Spice is great. Love the strong female. He falls first. Banter is fun!

This book was something else. I loved the constant banter between Hunter and Zara, along with the sensual tenderness. This entire feature is fabulous.

Stupendous, steamy read!!

The Christmas One Night Stand, an Audiobook by L. Steele, was the HUGELY romantic story of Hunter and Zara. She’s a PR professional and she hates Hunter, who is everything she loathes in a person. She gets roped into a deal she doesn’t want.

The verbal barbs between these two were epic!! Loved the word play….and the sizzle beneath it all! Everything about this story was PERFECT!!! The dynamics were incredible! Another 5-star read from this author!!!! Her stories just get better and better!!!!

This Audiobook was masterfully narrated by Shane East and Sasha Mia Khan, who easily captured the attitudes of these characters. I especially loved Sasha’s interpretation of Zara. I laughed more than once over her snarky tone. Shane was superior portraying Hunter, maintaining that hard, coarse attitude. Overall fabulous!!!

Super steamy.

I listened to the audio version of this book narrated by Shane East and Sasha Mia Kahn. I had a real problem with the different volumes at which the book was narrated. If I got it so that I could hear him, she was screeching. If I got it so that she wasn't yelling, I couldn't hear him at all.

If you like to read lots of hot steamy (including BDSM), this book might be right up your alley. It certainly was a little much for me. If you fast forward through all of those scenes, I'm not sure there would be any book left. It started right out of the gate.

This audiobook sadly just wasn't for me.

Enemies to Lovers🩷

This was an enjoyable read, I loved all of the other characters popping up and especially loved the push Hunter and Zara’s matchmakers gave them to go to the cabin. A little lie for a good cause…even if it did end with a surprise baby.

Loved it!

The characters definitely disliked each other in the beginning. Their back and forth had me laughing at how fired up they could both get. Working together has them in close proximity and it was fun watching them fall for one another but before that even happened they got into some nice steam and of course after one night anything could happen.I enjoyed these two and I loved the ending. The narrators did a wonderful job . They made the characters more vibrant .

I devoured this book! The Christmas One Night Stand is Hunter and Zara’s love story. The politician, Hunter, posed to become the next prime minister, and Zara, the political fixer who avoids any scandal that might ruin her reputation.

It’s a tame enemies to lovers, forbidden romance, with a MMC who is completely obsessed with the FMC, and a surprise pregnancy.

Is it possible to be both an alphahole and have golden-retriever vibes? If so, Hunter is the perfect example of such a man. He is determined to break down Zara's walls and has no qualms about pushing the boundaries of propriety to force her hand. His love language is background checks, blackmail, and stalking. And I was all about it!

This book is fast-burn and incredibly spicy, with multiple chapters of straight-up smut covering their one-night stand. Can I just say 18 orgasms? Zara is a lucky lady.

Audiobook Review:

I thoroughly enjoyed the narration of this book. Both narrators did an excellent job bringing their characters to life.

Shane East has become one of my favorite male narrators. His accent, his deep growly voice… absolutely sinful. The way he says “good girl” makes me want to be his good girl.
