LOVE IT

It was literally to short for me but it told a big story in such a short time I freaking love it and wouldn't mind listening again. I've read these as a kid so I totally don't remember it, so its just awesome to hear it read to me.

Awesome Story!

I love this book! Unfortunately the reader miss pronounced a character's name wrong about 50% of the time.

Childhood favourite

This whole series has been a favorite of mine since i picked up the first book randomly at a used book store. I believe i read witchlight first. I searched until i had read every book out of order and i pieced together the overall plot of the series.

I love each book individually. Some more than others.

This book i would have to say is one of my most re-read of the series because i am a sucker for tough, independent, armed and deadly female protagonists.

If you, like me, love a good paranormal fight against evil with a tough female at its core and a little bit of romance. But no long overwhelming sex scenes this book is a must read.

Reading age is ideal for teens!

What did you love best about The Chosen?

I love underdog to hero stories and I love romance. This book contains both. John Quinn and Rashel are two of the most unlikely people to fall in love but they do, and they fall hard!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love Rashel's wit and fire, her ability to adapt and change. She is a true hero, forged from loss, violence and pain but polished off by love and forgiveness.

Have you listened to any of Julia Whelan’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This I believe is the first time I heard Julia Whelan but I fell in love with her style immediately. She really brought the characters to life and gave them depth. Wonderful performance 10 stars if I could!!!!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Love is never out of reach.

Any additional comments?

I learned that the last book of the Night World Series "Strange Fate" has been lost. LJ smith has written it but for some reason or another it has not been published. To my understanding this has been the case for close to 10 years. I am sad to say that at this point, you will be enjoying the Night World stories and characters without the ultimate closure a reader, a customer or a fan would expect.

Amazing!

Love this series! I was a huge fan when it first came out and it still holds to this day. This is one of my favorites out of the series. And I'm still holding out hope that L.J. Smith will release the final book in this series some day! :-)
